Free mobile apps that interact with EVE would be a great way to drive people to main game. Nothing that impacts on the main game, something like gambling related walking in stations would be a great thing to see.

I am about to put up a lowsec to POS for moon mining and reactions. I also aim to put up POCOs to exploit the lowsec planets, as they are unlikely to be used at the moment. The POS provides shelter for pilots in lowsec, so that they are not camped...
